Eat Bison to Restore Bison
Bison nutrition: a cut above red meat
As America's original red meat, bison has been perfected over thousands of years to produce high quality protein, loaded with essential vitamins and minerals. In today's world, eating healthy is often considered to be dieting and sacrificing what tastes good.
Our grass-fed bison is not a sacrifice or compromise, but rather an upgrade over other red meat on the market. Bison yields a rich, tender meat that is sweet to taste, without the guilt that comes from eating something so delicious! Bison meat has a wide range of uses in cooking and can be included in a wider variety of meals.
The nutritional value of bison is a cut above. It is lower in calories and fat, particularly saturated fat when compared to other types of meat.

Field Harvested,
Ranch Processed
We are the only ranch in the country that handles bison meat products from start to finish. The main reason for bison's high nutritional value is the way they are raised. Our bison are handled as little as possible. They spend their entire lives roaming and grazing on native grasses, just as they did thousands of years ago.
Eliminating environmental pressures mitigates the release of stress hormones including cortisol and adrenaline into their blood which negatively affects the quality of the meat.
Our bison are never subjected to questionable drugs, chemicals, or synthetic hormones like factory-farmed meat or animals confined to large commercial feed lots.
